Catfishing Grinch

I have been a participant in the online dating world off and on for a few years now. And I've had to learn a lot of online dating lingo. Recently, I learned about catfishing. Catfishing is looking like something online but in person looking like someone else completely. In this day and age of rapidly advancing technology, it is very easy to be suspect of catfishing as equally as you can be a victim of such ploys. You use all the filters and lighting and stage make up and artful poses and tooth-hidden smiles to portray your "best." But in the realm and light of reality, in the stark and exposing rays of our earth's sun, our true selves are revealed.

So it is with great exigency that I pose this inquiry to the public eye.....

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most similar), how similar do I look to the grinch....

I pose such inquiry because apparently, to some men I am quite similar in the face...especially when smiling. Or maybe he said it was a Who which looked most like me or I like them? So if you've seen me in person, please weigh in. Am I suspect of catfishing? It's possible. I do like the Snapchat filters especially the Hello Kitty one they have around Valentine's.

Be honest. Or lie. In any event, it's safe to say I am ditching the online dating. It's proven unhealthy for my esteem and I've grown fond of my alone time anyway.
